Thank you for visiting this page. For accountability purposes, please find below the profiles of the families you're helping during these trying times.
It is the hope that your sponsorship will tide them for the short term, while they source for a more sustainable source of income. Your sponsorship will also tide them during the waiting time for larger organisations in our community to dispense more social assistance for these families.
All of these families are experiencing a loss of income (either partially or in totality). All of them have children in the household and/or elderly to care for. Some of them are single parent households as well.
These families also face food security issues. from what they told us, they skip alternate meals and occasionally starve themselves (or their children) to stretch out what they've got in their kitchen. It is the hope that hot meals and food packs for their family would put them on a better position to get back on their feet.
We wish for you to note that there other issues within the majority of these families that includes health issues, education matters, and social issues, which we will not mention for privacy matters.
Our team will facilitate the provision of Food Packs, Milk & Diapers and Iftar Meals for these families. For further help, these families will be referred to existing bodies rendering social assistance in Singapore.
Halalfoodhunt will use your sponsorship, less transaction charges charged by payment gateways, to purchase the intended items for them to be delivered to these families. Any excess in sponsorship amounts will be donated to Tabung Amal Aidilfitri. The financial accounts for this project will be made publicly available and linked to this page in due time.
